ASC's Testing Center (Elko campus)

The Great Basin College Testing Center (Elko campus) is located at 1500 College Parkway, Elko, Nevada 89801. Academic Success Center, DCIT Building, room 114 (see #11 on the campus map). Hours & Appointments

Great Basin College’s Testing Center is available for 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 and non-澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 students to take proctored paper and online exams. All tests assigned by 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 instructors are free for 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 students to take. All other exams are subject to a standard fee that must be paid at the Controller’s Office prior to testing.

Both in-person and online Zoom testing services are offered at the ASC testing center. 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 students DO need an appointment to take any proctored exam.

In-person Testing Service (appointment-based)

• If you prefer to take your exam at our testing center in person, please call the ASC front desk at 775-327-2247 to make an appointment.
• A valid picture ID with the first and last name matching the name on the exam must be presented.

Online Zoom Testing Service (appointment-based)

• If you prefer to take your exam at home, you can choose an online testing option to meet with a 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 proctor via Zoom to remotely complete your proctored exam.
• Appointments must be made through a web-based scheduling system called WcOnline. Please watch the video below to see how to make an appointment in WcOnline for your Zoom testing session.

• A valid picture ID with the first and last name matching the name on the exam must be presented to the proctor when checking in for your testing session via Zoom.
• Online Zoom testing service hours:
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 AM - 7 PM PT
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 9 AM - 1:30 PM PT

Proctoring fees for the Elko campus are to be paid to the 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 Controller’s Office in Berg Hall prior to testing (effective January 1, 2016):

• Testing for 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 Courses: No fee
• Tests for other Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) institutions (UNR, UNLV, NSC CSN, TMCC, and WNC): $15 per test
• Tests for any institution not a member of NSHE: $25 per test
• HiSET (High School Equivalency Test): $78.75 per one battery
• CLEP: $25 per test; the exam fee will be charged online by CLEP during registration
• Praxis: No 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 proctoring fee; exam fee will be charged online by Praxis during registration
• Accuplacer: Free for 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 placement test; $15 for other NHSE institutions; $25 for non-NHSE institutions
• Pearson Vue Exams (such as EMT, Nevada Insurance Certification Exams and Real Estate Exams): $25 Proctoring Fee
• WGU (Western Governors University): $25 fee per test will be paid by WGU, not directly by students
